CAMPS

In addition to her work as a professional artist, Bess is an experienced early childhood and elementary educator who has led a variety of camps and after school enrichments over the past two decades. Why are camps important? Bess believes camps are an incredible way for children to explore new interests and build self-confidence in a supportive and cooperative environment. She considers it pure joy to facilitate this process.

In an effort to provide quality experiences for all campers, space is limited. Bess wants to ensure each child receives individual instruction and attention by maintaining a low student-to-teacher ratio. Register early to secure your spot!

Summer 2024

Stroke of Genius Art Camp

Bess will guide artists as they “play” and experiment creatively, exploring a wide variety of media including acrylic, oil pastel, clay, charcoal, and watercolors. The magic is in the process! Artists will use what they learn about color, value, and mark-making to create unique, interesting and intuitive artwork that they will be proud to display. Your camper will love connecting with their inner artist in this action-packed week! Friday of each camp we will have a messy outdoor art and swim day! (In addition to Bess and her assistant, a lifeguard will be present.)
